Dave has arranged to reserve the outdoor BBQ pavilion of his condominium building for an afternoon potluck BBQ. This is a lovely outdoor seating and gathering area with a large BBQ grill. In addition, a large 70-foot swimming pool and a Jacuzzi will be available for those guests wishing to take a swim or have a soak. This is a beautiful venue, and the pool, outside garden area, and outdoor pavilion are located on the fifth floor, which gives a surreal sense of being above the city. The outdoor pavilion will be exclusive to EBN, however the common area outside, pool and Jacuzzi are shared with other condominium residents. Discretion in swimwear is therefore advised for those who wish to swim or sit in the jacuzzi.
For this event, there are no food assignments. Participants are asked to be creative and bring a potluck dish to share. The grill will be available for your use. Couples are reminded to bring a dish of double proportion.
EBN will provide cutlery, cups, plates, napkins, and non-alcoholic drinks. Feel free to bring your favorite alcoholic beverage for yourself or to share.
Parking is available on the street and there are several reasonably priced public parking lots nearby. The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) light rail also runs right near the building on Second Street.
