We will gather at the home of Mark Witte to enjoy an afternoon of fun in the sun. Everyone attending is asked to bring dish to share. There is no food assignment so be creative and bring a special dish. The kitchen will be available for food preparation and storage. Couples are reminded to bring a dish of double proportion or two dishes.
EBN will provide all the non-alcoholic drinks, cups, plates, napkins and eating utensils. Feel free to bring your favorite alcoholic beverage for yourself or to share.
Mark’s home is set in the Oakland Hills with beautiful views of San Francisco and the Bay Area. Attached to the home is a 4200 sq. ft. tropical plant conservatory with heated pool and spa. The home is set in two acres of natural forested landscape. The conservatory has a very large collection of orchids, bromeliads, ginger, heliconia, bamboo, hapu’u tree ferns, giant bird of paradise, and many other interesting plants. On the outside there are over a quarter mile of paths to stroll and a terrific variety of flowers and foliage. In addition to the large living room, dining room and kitchen upstairs, there is a family room, game room and billiards room.
You may park on Skyline Blvd. while you are attending the event. Don’t forget towels, sunscreen, and of course your swimsuit, as this is not a clothing optional event.
